FIFTEENTH REUNION
Out of the first fifty returns of reunion questionnaires over fifty per cent are down as coming to Hanover in June. Favorable answers came in from Baxter, Black, Boynton, H. Carr, Colby, Emerson, Emery, Fitch, Gates, Goss, Haggerty, Ed McGowan, MacIntyre, H. Myers, Joe Myer, Robie, Sanborn, Saladine, Sprague, Vin Smith, Stickney, Stillman, Thielscher, W. D. Thompson, Gile, Walters, and Wolff; and out of the above less than ten were at all uncertain. The committee are cutting out all extraneous expenses, and assure you a reunion week-end at a record low cost.
JUNE, 1932 IT'S OUR FIFTEENTH WAH H00! WAH HOO!! TOM STAGES A SHOW
Tom Cotton found time last winter in the midst of his varied duties with the foreign language information service to take on the job of vice-chairman of the Folk Festival Council of New York, which put on two successful performances of folk songs and dances of over twenty different nationalities at the Guild Theater in New York.
SPECIALIST NELB
Apologies for the headline, Al; but what I mean is that Al is now a specialist in the cotton marketing division of the U. S. Department of Agriculture and is located in Austin, Texas. He bemoans the fact that he will be among those absent at the reunion; but says he'll be there in spirit, and sends his best to the gang.
LAWYER GATES
Fred Gates writes that after putting in four years of study in evening school, he was admitted to the bar in Ohio in February, 1932. He has the distinction now of being both a member of the bar and a certified public accountant.
MILLIONAIRE SMITH
This from Babe Goss: "Vin Smith recently had his picture published in the rotogravure section of the Cleveland, Ohio, Plain Dealer in his Easter cutaway, plug hat, and gardenia, as one of Cleveland's leading attorneys. He is the only millionaire I know."
TOBIN GOES CHAUTAUQUA
Hal Tobin recently spoke in Stamford, Conn., before a combined meeting of all the service clubs under the auspices of the Foreign Policy Association, of which he is a distinguished member.
DOCTOR STICKNEY
Bob Stickney writes that he is specializing in children's diseases down in Beverly, Mass., and giving a great deal of time to the North Shore Babies' Hospital.
VICE-PRESIDENT WOLFF
Charlie Wolff has been made vice-president of the board of Milligan College, which we assume to be down in Tennessee, where Charlie has been located these past few years.
BACKING UP YOUR BOAST
When you admit every now and then with a bit of a swagger that you are a Dartmouth man, doyou really feel inside that you ARE one or merely WERE one? If you haven't ante-ed up for the Alumni Fund recently, try it now, and really back up that statement that you are a Dartmouth man.
PRINCIPAL SANBORN
Marty Sanborn, who has been teaching at Everett High School since 1921, was this spring elected principal of this school. We sincerely congratulate him on this appointment.
