Rupert Brooke's Library
NOVEMBER 1931

Dartmouth has recently acquired the private library of Rupert Brooke, containing nearly 400 titles. It was offered for sale in New York city and through the interest and generosity of a small group of recent graduates its purchase was made possible with the College meeting only a part of the expense. The library includes a great many of the books which Brooke studied at Cambridge with his own annotations written in pencil in many of them. The titles which the collection includes are varied. It has been placed on exhibition in the Treasure Room of the Baker Library.
