Concerning it this paper states: "It will be with more than a little surprise, perhaps, that friends of Miss Helen Rothchild and of James Agard Bartlett will read this morning that their wedding is to take place Monday noon at the home of the bride's parents, Dr. and Mrs. Walter Allen Rothchild, Madison, S. D.

"Miss Rothchild, an instructor in the English department at Rockford High School, has been making her home at the Faust Hotel It was not until she left the city Friday evening to spend the vacation holidays at her home in South Dakota, that news of the approaching marriage became known.

"Mr. Bartlett left last night for Madison. Following the ceremony tomorrow, he and his bride will go East on their honeymoon journey, from which they will return to make their home in the attractive Bartlett residence at Guard St. and Harlem Blvd.

"Tomorrow's bride was graduated from the University of Wisconsin. Mr. Bartlett, who is head of the Bartlett Storage Ware- house, is a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Bartlett. He was graduated from Dartmouth College, and is president of the Dartmouth Alumni Club of Rockford, 111.
