Paul R. Jenks is now-a grizzled veteran of the New York public school system. He is eligible to retire in February, 1931, but is going to finish the term at Flushing, N. Y., as acting principal, without stipend. He is also on the rolls of Hunter College as giving an extension course in Greek for teachers. In addition to these burdens, he is a lay reader in the diocese of Long Island, "and especially licensed to speak on occasion." Growing old gracefully.
