All the above jots are from Hanover. The only letter this month came from Ceep Pierce, who writes from Saranac Lake. Two years ago poor lungs made it necessary to go there, where he has been forced to spend most of his time in bed. Complications have made him totally deaf. He writes a cheerful letter, and says he is progressing slowly. I want you birds to write me some news, but before you do so, sit down and send Ceep a line or two of cheer. His address is 28 Old Military Road, Saranac Lake, N. Y.
