Alumni Council Elections
April 1931

Ballots will shortly go out to all alumni of more than three years' standing for the annual election to the Alumni Council from the New England States district. Owing to the fact that only one nomination was made from each of the other four districts, there is a contest for election in the New England district only. Polls close June 10 and voters are urged to return their ballots to the secretary of the alumni association at once.

In the New England States district the following three alumni have been nominated and their names will appear on the election ballots: Arthur Hiler Ruggles 'O2, Providence, Rhode Island. Lawrence Hardy Bankart '10, Lynn, Massachusetts. Sargent Flint Eaton '11, Bridgeport, Connecticut.

In the Middle and Southern States district Warren Fuller Kimball '11 of New York City was the only nominee. He will therefore succeed himself as a member of the Council for three years beginning July 1, 1931.

In the Central States District John Roland Childs 'O9, of Chicago was the only nominee. He will therefore succeed himself as a member of the Council for three years beginning July 1, 1931.

In the Western States Paul Witmer Loudon '14 of Minneapolis received the only nomination and will therefore succeed himself as a member of the Alumni Council for three years at the expiration of his first term June SO, 1931.

In the Rocky Mountain and Pacific States District Robert Elmer More '13 of Denver, was the only man nominated. In accepting the nomination Mr. More is assured of taking his place on the Alumni Council in succession to William West Grant, Jr. '03, at the expiration of the latter's term on June 30, 1931.

Notification of the nominations in four districts where nomination was equivalent to election, since only one nominee was chosen, are being sent to all alumni residing within those districts. In the case of New England ballots will be sent shortly and may be returned to Hanover any time up to June 10.
