The annual dinner of the Dartmouth Alumni Association of Philadelphia, was held on the evening of March 5 at the University Club. Approximately 80 men were in attendance. Among this number were several fathers of students now attending college. A delegation of five came up from Wilmington, Del.; Trenton, N. J., and Bristol, Pa ~ were represented as well. Mr. Gordon Hardwick of the University of Pennsylvania gave an interesting talk on his experiences while touring the country for the purpose of studying the athletic administrations of the various colleges and universities visited by him. Dean Laycock, our other guest speaker, gave his usual inspiring talk. We always look forward to the Dean's coming, and it seems that his talks are always better than any he has ever given before.

The following officers were elected for the coming year: president, Herman Davidson 'l4; vice-president, Victor C. Smith 'l7; treasurer, Donald A. Rogers '2O; secretary, William Pugh '25; executive committee for a period of three years, Bruce A. Ludgate 'l7; Student Aid Fund committee for a period of two years, Thornton C. Pray 'l5.

The interest shown by the members of our association this past year has far surpassed that of any previous year, and the officers, anticipating another year of activity, will endeavor to keep burning the fires set by our retiring president, Ralph R. Britton.
