In the annual election of sectional representatives to the Dartmouth Alumni Council there is, this year, only one contest. Three men were nominated earlier in the year for the membership to be left vacant by the retirement of Guy Channing Richards '96 of Salem, Mass., in June upon the completion of two terms. A member of the Council is elected for a term of three years and may not serve for more than two consecutive terms.
