EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE REPORT
JULY 1931

Mr. Leggett reported for this committee and stated that there were two matters to be brought before the Council. He announced that the collection of funds for the anniversary gift to President Hopkins had more than exceeded expenses and he suggested that the surplus be deposited in the Council treasury. This received the approval of the Council.

Mr. Leggett also stated that a request had been received from the Alumni Association of Wisconsin to effect a redistricting of sectional divisions of the Council as these are now set up. The alumni in Milwaukee feel that they should be members of the district to the west rather than of the Ohio—Michigan—Illinois group. The executive committee recommended to the Council that no change be now made in this districting since it is felt that the increase in the number of member at large Council positions was designed to take care of situations of this nature. There was discussion during which the Council concurred with the opinion of the executive committee.
