SELECTIVE PROCESS
JULY 1931

Mr. Leggett spoke of the excellent record again made by the Council in assisting the office of the Director of Admissions in carrying on the work of the selective process. He stated that there was this year an even higher percentage of returns from blanks distributed by the admissions office than there had been in previous years. The question was raised as to whether Milwaukee should fall under the jurisdiction of the Chicago or the Minneapolis councilors in the interviewing of applicants for admission. The secretary was instructed to secure the opinion of the Director of Admissions and to suggest that Milwaukee should be included in the Minneapolis district in this work as it is in Council elections.
