Another distinctive feature of this Commencement was the baccalaureate address, given this year by President Hopkins. The President's address, "Attributes of Vision," is printed in this issue, together with his valedictory to the class of 1931.

Sunday was a perfect day for the reunion outings, which took the classes to the shores of many lakes in a large radius of Hanover. Accounts of all these merry excursions under the auspices of a hot sun on an afternoon which had all the freshness of the birth of the world will be found on the pages of this issue devoted to class reports.

President and Mrs. Hopkins held their reception for the graduating class, alumni and guests of the College in their garden in the evening. An unprecedented number of guests attended, and the amber flood lights dramatized the garden and the graceful spruces which border it, and with the usual gracious hospitality gave the whole affair a keen flavor of atmosphere.
