President's Engagements

President Hopkins will deliver an address at the centennial celebration of Wabash College at Crawfordsville, Indiana, Monday, October 31. Mr. Hopkins' brother, Louis B. Hopkins, is president of Wabash. President Angell of Yale University will also be a guest speaker from the East at this celebration. As the MAGAZINE was going to press, President Hopkins planned to go directly to Wabash from the meeting of the Dartmouth Alumni Council at the Dartmouth Club of New York, Friday, October 28. Other speaking engagements during October, in addition to his activities in behalf of the New Hampshire Branch of the National Economy League, of which he is chairman, included an address before the Vermont State Teachers' Association in Burlington, October 14, and the broadcast of an adaptation of his convocation address from the studio of station WNAC in Boston, October 1.

Mr. Hopkins will speak at the luncheon which will be held at Amherst in connection with the inauguration of President Stanley King of Amherst, November 11.
