The Presbyterian church, in Bedford, N. H., celebrated this summer the 100th anniversary of the erection of the artistic building of colonial architecture in which it is housed. William Jewett Tucker was for a time pastor of this church, and Watson was its minister from 1900 to 1909. The centennial sermon was delivered by Watson, now of the First Congregational church, Wilton, Me. Classmates who attended may not be recognized judges of sermons, but they declare that the address was timely and eloquent.

In a recent letter Christophe, busy doctor of Manchester west side, made this surprising statement: "My one ambition isto live to be the oldest alumnus of Dartmouth College." The reason for this desire to pose as a patriarch appears elsewhere. On October 9, 1932, Kenneth Christophe, 1924, made him a grandfather of Philip Allan Christophe, 1954.
