You'll have to pardon me if this seems a little hasty, but the fact is that your friend Milliken's wife has made up her mind that it would be nice to move. And ALUMNI MAGAZINE or not, we move—and there are things to do.

We were a bit puzzled to receive an announcement of Herb Sensenig's marriage at Bonn, Germany, to Miss Hermine Katharina Racz, and right afterward to discover that he was listed in the Directory as located at 80 South Main St., Hanover. We went into the matter with determination, and finally discovered that the wedding took place on July 23—and we had to admit that Herb could probably get back to Hanover between July 23 and November 3. But it seems quite a ways to go to get married.

And we have an infant to record—Miss Sally Joan Church born on October 6, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph A., as you will surmise.

Honie Westhaver is quite healthy and is also quite bald—perhaps we shouldn't say that—and it's no hearsay this time, as the Secretary saw him in the flesh last month at Worcester, Mass. Honie enjoys the title and the 7 to 6 hours of foreman of the open hearth process at American Steel and Wire Co., and he averred that though things were not rosy, still they were not exactly dull. Frank Thurston, Honie ventured, was an industrial engineer and was living in Wakefield, Mass., up near Larry Martin.

We had trouble believing our usually trustworthy ears when we heard that Gordon Jamison was selling advertising for the Havana Post at Havana, Cuba, and living at Hotel Vedado. We had no idea that people went to Cuba to work.

Lou Pelletier called on us the other day and planked down his card, which said "Louis Pelletier Jr.—President." We caught our breath and read further—"Caldwell, Needham, & Co., 7 West 45th St., New York city." Then Lou told us that he had gone into partnership with two other men and was running a clothing store, furthermore, that things were going finely. And if your old Campion suit is getting slightly frayed, the Secretary has heard that Lou does a right smart job on suits.

A little later Court Keller dropped in. Court is with Banamerica Blair Corp., and is selling securities.

They say that Joe Goodwillie is getting himself engaged to some young lady over in Montclair, but they forgot to give us her name.

And with that last effort comes the pointed suggestion that there is plenty of string with which to tie up these bundles, and a fellow with a truck comes tomorrow.

Secretary, Wm. Iselin & Co., 357 Fourth Ave., New York
