It's hard to get going on this tonight. I suppose the main reason is that tomorrow is May 11 and I'm pushing off to Hanover for the secretaries' meeting. And that's somewhat of a distraction. However, here's the story.

By the time you get this in June things will be right on the edge of that reunion you've been thinking over. As it stands now it looks as though there will be plenty of candidates on deck, unless we have one of those nasty business depressions between now and then, or maybe an earthquake or so. But we won't fill space with this, for by the time this comes to you, you will have heard all about it.

June, they tell us, is the month for bridegrooms—and what should we listen to today but news that Securityman John Phillips was on the list for a hike down the aisle with Miss Peggy Ballou of Montclair some time or other in June. The details are kind of hazy, for we heard it third or fourth hand originally backed up by a newspaper clipping. But it seems to be quite authentic, because Art Gow and Shaw Cole '29 were down as ushers.

And then there is Matthew Crawford Pollock—this from the Herald Tribune, and this time we have the evidence in our own hands—whose engagement was recently announced to Miss Ethna Louise Norris of Great Neck, L. I. It goes on to say that Miss Norris is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William H. Norris, while Craw has on his side Lieutenant Commander and Mrs. M. B. Pollock. Also that Mr. Pollock is associated with the du Pont Cellophane Co. So it looks like there's no mistake—it must be our Craw. The wedding, by the way, is scheduled early in the autumn.

And then there's Ham Hagar, whose engagement, I believe, we reported a while back, and whose marriage to Miss Leonie Alma Gemmerich took place April 19 at Larchmont, N. Y.

It begins to look as though the married men were fast getting the upper hand on the situation. But we still have one or two fellows that are hard to convince. We won't mention any names—the publicity might have an adverse effect on their single-blessedness, and we wouldn't want to be responsible.

Did we tell you that Doc Rocky Keith is at the Montclair Hospital, Montclair, N. J.?

We get rumors that Herm Graupner started out last March 28 on a six months' trip around the world. He has gone to California and leaves soon for Japan.

Les Benioff is practicing law here in New York. Besides that his wife is also a lawyer, and they have offices at 1560 Broadway.

Allan Salinger, who was with us freshman year but who left college on account of illness, is a trader in Wall St., and makes his office with J. F. Trounstine & Co. at 50 Broadway.

And here's another engagement—but we are stumped for a date on this clipping. The corner of a 33 at the top seems to indicate the last few months, but that's the best we can do. It goes on to state that Mrs. George Appell of Mt. Vernon gave a large reception and tea at the Silwanoy Country Club at which she announced the engagement of her daughter, Miss Blim Appell, to none other than Charley Hazzard. Miss Appell went to Skidmore and Katherine Gibbs in New York. It also appears that Charles is serving his interneship at Bellevue Hospital.

And now for a couple of blessed events. In the first place, last March 11 Miss Carol Bartlett Haines became the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Craig Haines and at the same time weighed 7 lbs. 914 oz. And just the other day, April 24, Ace Anthony received word that he was the father of Miss Frances Lee Anthony.
