Dean Craven Laycock left Hanover February 11 on a month's speaking tour which will take him as far west as Denver, Colorado, to address alumni dinners in eleven cities. He plans to return toHanover March 13.

Dean Laycock's first engagement was in Albany, where he gave the principal address at the annual dinner of the Dartmouth Alumni Association of Eastern New York at the DeWitt Clinton Hotel February 12. The following night he addressed the Dartmouth Club of Western New York at the University Club in Buffalo. This was followed in turn by the dinner of the Dartmouth Club of Cleveland Tuesday at the University Club of Cleveland. The Dartmouth Club of Detroit met for a dinner at the Detroit University Club February 18 with Dean Laycock as the principal speaker.

A large number of alumni gathered for the annual dinner of the Chicago Association February 23. This engagement was followed on the Dean's itinerary by dinners at Milwaukee and St. Paul on February 23 and 25 at the University Clubs in these cities.

According to his itinerary, Dean Laycock was to be the guest of honor and chief speaker at the dinner of the "Of the Plains" Association in Omaha, Nebraska, February 29. Mr. Laycock will reach the western terminus of his trip at Denver March 2, and will speak at the alumni dinner at the University Club the following evening.

On his return trip Mr. Laycock will speak at the dinner of the St. Louis Association at the Kingsway Hotel in St. Louis March 7. He will attend a dinner of the class agents of the Dartmouth Alumni Fund in Chicago March 10, returning afterwards to Hanover via New York.
