Jack Shea

Jack Shea came back to Hanover a champion. When he left two weeks before he was a Dartmouth sophomore who was known for his skating ability, but he returned to his fellow students to receive an acclaim which has seldom in the history of the College been given to an individual. Cheers and speeches were Dartmouth's tribute to Jack Shea and he responded by saying that of all the receptions he had received the one given him on the steps of College Hall was the one he would treasure the most.
