The winter season was brought to a close on March 21 when the finals in basketball, wrestling, and boxing were run off in the Alumni gymnasium.
Staving off a last minute rally, the Psi Upsilon basketball team defeated Middle Fayerweather 15-2, thus gaining the college championship. The Psi U's got off to an early lead, and for a while it looked as though they were going to make a lopsided gamft of it. Middle Fayerweather refused to quit, however, and brought the score from 15-2 to 15-12 in the last few minutes of the game. R. S. Wilson '34, of Columbus, Ohio, was high scorer for the Psi U outfit, while L. L. Chester, of New Britain, Conn., led the dormitory team, both men scoring six points.
D. S. Richardson '32, of Cambridge, Mass., won the annual foul-shooting tournament by scoring 32 times out of a possible 40. W. R. Winn 3s, of Cleveland, Ohio, placed second with a total of 30.
