Forty-nine Dartmouth alumni and friends gathered at the Civic Club, Harrisburg, the evening of February 2,5 for the annual dinner of the Dartmouth Club of Central Pennsylvania. Dean Bill was the guest of honor and principal speaker. George E. Foss '97 also addressed the club. The meeting was presided over by John P. Wadham 'O3.
Invitations were sent to fathers of undergraduates residing in Central Pennsylvania through the use of a list provided by the College. A number of parents were in attendance and appreciated the opportunity of getting closer in touch not only with Dartmouth men but with the faculty as represented by Dean Bill. It has also been the practice in Harrisburg to invite the principals of local high schools and academies to the annual dinner. This year Dr. Arthur Brown, master of Harrisburg Academy; Professor Walter Severance of the John Harris high school; and Professor Hartman of Franklin and Marshall Academy at Lancaster were present.
Those present at the dinner enjoyed Dean Bill's visit and consider that they were fortunate in having had him there. They appreciate how busy he is particularly during this season of the year.
Present officers of the club are: President, John P. Wadham '03; secretary-treasurer, Russell D. Webster '26.
