John Redington has accepted a position with the Palmer Advertising Service. This is one of the most active firms in New York city in the lithographic field. Both John Palmer and his brother Russ are graduates of the College and have always retained a very great interest in its affairs. John Redington has had a wonderful experience in selling all kinds of commodities. He knows the paper business as few men know it, and that will be a distinct asset to him in his new field of endeavor. It certainly is a fine connection and we congratulate both Johns.
The following is from the pen of the Secretary of '98: "On February 13 Augustus L. Hadley, postmaster of Marion, Mass., entertained Phil Patey '98 with a fox hunt. To be sure, the fox eluded the hunters, but the day was beautiful, the pine needles soothed one's feet, the sun shone brightly, and the walk through the meadows and through the fragrant pines was an event long to be remembered. 'Gus' Hadley, as he is called in Marion, is one of the most helpful men in the town. He is postmaster and also head of the Boy Scout division, so every boy in Marion knows him and bows pleasantly to him when he meets him on the street. His fellow townsmen have given him a fund to help the worthy poor, and it strikes me that Augustus Hadley is living life to the full about as much as any man I know."
