A large number of Dartmouth men, parents of undergraduates, and prospective students gathered in the University Club at St. Louis the evening of March 7 to hear Dean Laycock talk on the subject "Dartmouth College." Charles W. McKenzie '20 presided at the dinner. This was also the occasion of the annual business meeting of the St. Louis Association.
Following his visit to St. Louis Dean Laycock went to Chicago where he spoke on March 10 to the Alumni Fund class agents in the evening. He was the guest and principal speaker at a luncheon of the Interfraternity Club the same day. Reports of his address to the 400 men present at the Interfraternity luncheon indicate that the Dean made a most successful impression on that group. His remarks were quoted at length in "The Greek Week," bulletin of the Club.
