The Streets of New York
APRIL 1932

This is a revival of Dion Boucicault's old-time thriller. It was perfectly proper fare for the occasion, and Warner Bentley continued his uniformly excellent work in his presentation of it. It is unfortunate that an organization which persists in doing such laudable work should be received with the same apathetic support which is the lot of various other bodies on campus which have no such logical claim for support. It may be the weather—oh, it may be almost anything at this time of year. We often wonder, lacking in experience as we are, whether the same chafing is true in other places—but we don't really care.

The Dartmouth turns its eye increasingly upon the march of public affairs, with a side order of campus-boardwalk, Spaulding Pool for the use of the Hanover fair ones during some of its unoccupied moments, for more intellectual curiosity—oh, for a great number of the regular things which they ought to campaign for, and we are happy to record it. Similarly with the Jacko, though we have not had the privilege of seeing a new one for now these many months.
