Secretaries Convene
MAY 1932

The 28th annual meeting of the Secretaries Association will be called to order in the Sanborn House Library, Hanover, Friday evening, May 6. The College extends a cordial invitation to all class and association secretaries to come to Hanover for that weekend as guests of the College. Following a somewhat revised schedule this year the first meeting will be held Friday evening instead of in the afternoon as has been the previous custom. The second business session will be held Saturday morning to be followed by a luncheon at the President's house to which all secretaries have been invited by President and Mrs. Hopkins.

Following the afternoon, left free for entertainment, the secretaries will convene for their final session in Tuck Hall. The four reels of movies issued by "Dartmouth College News" and sponsored by the Association will first be shown. The annual dinner will follow in Stell Hall, with addresses by President Hopkins, Judge Charles H. Donahue '99, and Howland H. Sargeant '32. John M. Comstock '77, alumni editor of the MAGAZINE, will present awards to the "best class and club secretaries."

Warde Wilkins 'l3, president of the Association, will preside at the dinner and meetings. The speakers on the program of the business sessions are: Charles A. Proctor 'OO, William J. Minsch 'O7, John R. Burleigh 'l4, Arthur F. Woodies 'l4, Albert W. Frey '2O, Edgar P. Stocker '23, Harlan P. Statzell Jr. '25, Sidney C. Hayward '26, Albert I. Dickerson '3O.

An attractive baseball schedule for the week-end will provide entertainment for the visiting secretaries. Dartmouth will play Pennsylvania May 6 and the following day will meet Yale in a double header. All are league games.
