Through the courtesy of Monsieur F. Pila, Secretaire des Oeuvres Francaises a I'Etranger, and his associates, the French Government recently presented the College with fourteen large etchings and engravings from the plates at the Chalcographie du Louvre.

These prints include works of representative French painters from Chardin to Puvis de Chavannes, as well as three views from the Paris series of Louis Orr, the American etcher.

The College has had the prints framed, and they have been hung in the Cercle Frangais rooms, and in Dartmouth Hall in the corridor adjacent to the office of the department of Romance Languages.
