The Secretary called on Fred Bennis this summer at his ancestral home in West Sullivan, Me., and found him in splendid health and enjoying that wonderful region to the full.

Joe Bartlett has been exceedingly busy as chairman of the Massachusetts Commission to supply Federal funds for the cities and towns of the state needing financial aid.

Mr. and Mrs. Israel Aubey have moved into a new home in Framingham and are anxious to have '9B men call and see their wide and ample meadow.

We are indebted to Seelman for the very fine report of the 35th Reunion.

Joe Carney has certainly been in the limelight lately through his appointment as collector of internal revenue at the port of Boston. This is one of the best appointments yet made by President Roosevelt.

Harry W. Clark has been spending the summer with his sister in North Weare, N. H.

The Secretary and his family spent their summer vacation on the island of Mt. Desert with the Appalachian Mountain Club.

Charley Littlefield has been elected deputy grand master of Masons in Rhode Island and has also been made president of the Rhode Island Baptist State Convention.

Dr. Fred Lord and Mrs. Lord are due home frdm his sabbatical year Monday, September 11.

Dick Marcy and Mrs. Dick are exceedingly busy on their fruit farm in Lincoln, Mass., and expect to go to Florida again about November.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert F. Marden announce the engagement of their daughter, Dorothy Fiske, to Mr. Charles Francis Fairbanks 2d of Lowell, Mass. The wedding will be in October.

Mr. and Mrs. H. Philip Patey announce the engagement of their daughter, Philippa Charles, to Mr. Alonso Irigoyen of New York and Buenos Aires.

Our classmate Russell is now in the state hospital at North Grafton, Mass., where he is receiving the best of care.

Rev. "Ev" Snow and his family went to the Century of Progress Fair in Chicago the latter part of August.

Fletcher Harper Swift with his two daughters spent a very happy two weeks at Lake Morey after Commencement. They returned then to California.

In Melrose, Mass., on August a 6, Miss Annie Mouncer of Arlington, Mass., and York Beach, Me., was united in marriage to Bradley C. Rodgers of Needham, Mass. Brad and his wife will make their home at 1170 High St., Dedham, Mass.
