Faculty promotions and the routine acceptance of resignations were among the business taken up by the Board of Trustees at its meeting on June 17. The promotion of Frank W. Garran from assistant professor to professor of civil engineering in the Thayer School, of which he is acting Dean, and that of Clarence J. Campbell from associate professor to professor of Pharmacology in the Medical School was voted by the Trustees. William P. Kimball '2B was appointed instructor in Civil Engineering in the Thayer School.

Resignations were accepted from George Y. McClure, instructor in Anatomy at the Medical School, effective September 30, 1933, and frorti George B. Zug, professor of Modern Art. Resolutions of appreciation of the services of both men were voted by the Trustees.

A special vote of appreciation was passed by the Board for the contributions to the College by Charles G. DuBois '9l, retiring Trustee, during his ten years in office.
