Dartmouth's 50 th Anniversary Alumni Fund campaign ended June 30 with the largest dollar and contributor totals in history. On that date the Fund had received $1,400,000 from 21,000 contributors. When additional gifts en route are added and income of approximately $170,000 from Class Memorial Funds and individual endowments is counted in, the 1964 Alumni Fund is expected to reach $1,600,000.

Such a result is $100,000 over the Golden Anniversary goal and some $220,000 greater than the $1,378,947 raised in the 1963 Fund campaign. A new mark of 22,000 contributors is also in prospect.

This year's record-smashing campaign was directed by Fund Chairman Charles F. Moore Jr. '25. Under his two-year leadership the Alumni Fund has produced $3,000,000 in unrestricted funds for the College.
