The Dartmouth College Concert Series for 1933-34 present a five-concert course featuring Rosa Ponselle, Metropolitan Opera star, and Albert Spalding, famous American violinist. Miss Ponselle opens the series on December 5, and is followed by the Budapest String Quartet on January 23, the Hall Johnson Negro Choir on February 20, Albert Spalding on March 20, and the Handel Society Symphony Orchestra, with Dorothy Kendrick as piano soloist, on May 6. The subscription price for the entire series is $5, although tickets may also be purchased for the single concerts.
