Rev. William W. Prescott went last August to Berrien Springs, Mich., to become head of the Bible Department in Emmanuel Missionary College. He writes: "I cannot say how long I shall remain here, butit may be as long as I have strength for thework, or I may be called elsewhere at theend of the college year, or any time thereafter. You know enough of my past historyto understand that I have no permanentplace of residence, but am subject to callat any time. I do not complain of this, asI have enjoyed my work in many fields."

Charles S. Wilcox left the class in January of sophomore year, and some time later entered Sheffield Scientific School at Yale, where he graduated in 1879. Immediately after his graduation he went to Hamilton, Ont., where he has made his home ever since. He became one of the financial magnates of Canada, being president, and later chairman of the board of directors, of the Steel Company of Canada, Ltd. A recent letter says: "My work is done, and I am on the shelf. My health is good. The depression takes some of the joy outof life. I am still connected with severalbusiness concerns. There is not much cheerful talk at our directors' meetings. Thathas to be mental, not financial."

C. M. Goddard, in retirement at Summit, N. J., apologizes for irregularity in his correspondence due to trouble with the ulnar nerve of his right arm, which compels him to dictate all letters, and confine his penmanship to signing his name.

Warren Story was with the class only through freshman fall, but long enough to win the sobriquet of "Phoebus Apollo," on account of his flaming head of hair. He went early to the Pacific Coast, where he has been successful in various business enterprises. He is now nearly blind from cataracts on both eyes, but, though now in his eightieth year, he plans an operation for their removal.
