Heneage Defends Football

The decline of football receipts is due to economic conditions and "not to any falling off of interest in the game, it was asserted by Harry R. Heneage, supervisor of Dartmouth athletics, in an interview by TheDartmouth. "The game itself is firmly entrenched with the American people," Dartmouth's athletic head went on to say. "There is no question that the high cost of admission to many of our major games had its effect, but the coming season will see a general reduction and, in all probability, a graduated admission price."
