Annual Boston Banquet

The annual dinner of the Boston Alumni Association was held in the main dining room of the Boston Chamber of Commerce, March 11. To encourage a large attendance the dinner was put on at minimum expense. There were about 325 members of the Association present.

Ray Cabot 'is, president of the Club, presided and introduced the speakers, who were: Judge Louis S. Cox '96, William J. Bingham, Harvard '16 and director of athletics in Cambridge, and President Hopkins.

This year's dinner was noteworthy, first because the reasonableness of the price and its informality were especially in keeping with the time; and second, because of the fact that although the meeting was shorter and the speakers fewer than usual, all the speeches were excellent, and were received accordingly.
