Victor M. Cutter 'O3 of Boston and New London, N. H., has recently been appointed chairman of the New England Regional Planning Commission, covering District No. 1 as designated by the National Resources Board. The appointment was made by Secretary Ickes.
Mr. Cutter, a trustee of Dartmouth College, was formerly president of the United Fruit Company. He is New Hampshire vice-president of the New England Council; a director of the New England Mutual Life Insurance Company, the New England Telephone and Telegraph Company, and several other companies; and a member of the corporation of Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
The Regional Planning Commission, under Mr. Cutter's leadership, will coordinate all agencies for conservation, transportation, highways, and recreation in New England.
