On September 16 Houston suffered a slight stroke due to thrombosis. His whole left side was partially paralyzed, but he did not lose consciousness. There has been quite satisfactory improvement to the present time, and it is hoped that this will continue to a fairly complete recovery. Rev. Thomas M. Hodgdon and wife have gone to their winter home in DeLand, Fla., where they will remain till early summer.

Secretary, R.F.D. No. 1, Travers City, Mich.
