New Location for Monday LuncheonsFRED SO LAM'S

19 Maiden Lane—San Francisco Do we like it? Attendance tells the story, 23 last Monday.

The fall season started out with a venison barbecue at Ray Taylor's ('11) ranch at Calistoga up in the Napa Valley. Ray himself bagged the buck and invited the Dartmouth gang up to take care of the chops. We did a good job. Such hospitality! Thanks to Ray and his neighbors who contributed their efforts and other favors, and especially to Mrs. Taylor who worked for days to have things "just right." This ranch reminds us of that gentleman's paradise, "Rancho Tularcitos," down in the Carmel Valley where Bill Wright '18 used to play host. "Hoppy" was along on one of those parties and we will not be satisfied until we get him out here again. How about it, Hoppy?

Had quite a lot of interest in "THATGAME AT NEW HAVEN." About 60 showed up for the special luncheon to hear the direct wire reports. The girls were there, too, 16 of 'em—just like the Yale Bowl of our memories—same yells, same score, everything the same except the raccoon coats. A great party, and well all be back for the Princeton Game, again with "sane optimism."

LOST! to the San Francisco Association —one mighty fine, loyal Dartmouth man. He will be in circulation in New York, however, with the Soft Lite Lens Company. To this member, a past president who never let down, the Dartmouth seal on parchment bearing the following inscription was presented just prior to his departure:

"Dartmouth College surrounds her sonswith a bond of fellowship—indefinable,ever-present, profound. The DartmouthAssociation of Northern California presents to ELMER ROBINSON '14 this symbolof the affection we hold for him." Here's to still further success, Elmer! We shall miss your good bass voice at our coming Dartmouth Night celebration.
