Our mini-reunion over the Penn weekend was quite minimal following our important 60th reunion in June. Those present were Charles and Adelyn Bishop;Dick and Betty Eberhart; Ed Emerson and his son, Tom; Don and Lou Norstrand;Les and Dot Talbot; Tubba and BarbaraWeymouth; as well as Molly Cherington, the six and three quarters-year-old granddaughter of the Eberharts. At cocktails and dinner at Norwich Inn following the game, all enjoyed the additional company of Sally Drury and Caroline Marshall.

Responding to a class birthday greeting, Larry and Jean Kennison told of their trip to Vancouver, the Canadian Rockies, and Expo. Larry's birthday was celebrated at Lake Louise and Jean's in Banff. They were in hopes of attending both Larry's 60th and Jean's 50th reunions, but both came at the same time. They had to settle on the 50th at Brooklyn College, where Larry taught for many years and knew many of Jean's classmates. .

We are waiting to hear if Dick Sagendorph took along his Sicilian donkeys when he recently sold his Brookfield, Mass., farm and moved back to his boyhood home in Spencer, Mass., where his 107-year-old mother still lives. Dick has raised miniature donkeys as pets for many years and thinks highly of them as such.

Jake Jacobus is playing golf again after an operation last summer. He and Evie have plans for a Caribbean cruise through the Grenadines in March. Our 60th reunion chairman reports that with all expenses paid, over $300 was added to our class funds.

After the 60th Dick and Dorothy Husband visited their son in Marblehead, Mass., then attended Elderhostel at Bowdoin College, Brunswick, Maine. In August they went to North Carolina for a second Elderhostel at Lenoir-Ryne College. Dick, who is a professor of industrial psychology at Florida State University, commented that smaller colleges with less than a national reputation have better ratings in teaching skills than some better known schools.

Congratulations to Tubba and BarbaraWeymouth, who were given the Larry Leavitt Award at the September Alumni Fund weekend for "outstanding achievement in memorial gifts." Also, a salute to George Scott, who won commendation for his achievement as campaign leader in our 60th reunion giving.

Norman Shellman, Santa Fe, N.M., in response to his class birthday greeting, reported that all is well in the West, that the Dartmouth-Navy game was aired in New Mexico, and that he thought we enjoyed the best of things in our days in college. He sent his best to all of '26.

From time to time this column has listed recent "1926 brides and grooms of the year." Now we put it all together and name the succession since November 1979, when Barbara Hay ward and TubbaWeymouth were married. Those who followed are Adelyn and Charlie Bishop in October 1980, Shirley and Bud Bush in January 1982, Glad and Tony Gleason in 1983, Grace Murdough and George Slight in January 1984, as well as Helen andCarle Blunt in April 1984, Lou and DonNorstrand in February 1985, and EllenLouer and George Young in November 1986. We are unaware of any other recent weddings.

At this time of the year Bob May's Rudolph the Rednosed Reindeer sends 1926 seasons greetings to all!
