Two Dartmouth homes representing '97 and '99 were made happy by the recent announcement of the engagement of Genevieve Benezet to Richard D. Butterfield. Miss Benezet is a graduate of Vassar and now a teacher of French in Miss Porter's School in Farmington, Conn. She represented her college in the Students' Peace Forum in Geneva in 1931, and in 1932 held the Vassar fellowship, which permitted a year of study at Toulouse. Richard Butterfield followed his Dartmouth course by work in the architectural office of Jens F. Larson, and he is now completing his course in architecture in the School of Fine Arts of Yale University. He spent last summer in European study. Benezet and Butterfield were college mates and were educational associates in New Hampshire school work for a number of years. Each has sent two sons to Dartmouth.
