Tonight (January 5) a dance sponsored by the Dartmouth College Club of New York is being held in the Grand Ballroom of the Hotel Plaza. Up to the time of this writing, 732 reservations have been made by the alumni and undergraduates in the Metropolitan area. A programme of theatrical and radio stars will supplement the dancing, and the committee running the party enthusiastically announce that in their opinion $3.50 per couple has never bought as good a time. The members of the committee are John A. Weser '28, John W. Hubbell '21, Charles S. Holbrook '24, and George M. Hubbard Jr. '32. The music is being furnished by Meyer-Davis' orchestra.
The next big event on the programme is the annual banquet, which, as you know, is being given this year as a testimonial dinner to Dean Craven Laycock. Advance ticket applications indicate the finest Dartmouth turnout in years, and any and all Dartmouth men within hailing distance are sincerely invited to come. The men helping to run this affair, together with the writer, are:
Dr. Eliot Bishop 'Ol, C. King Woodbridge '04, John F. Sanderson '04, J. W. Knibbs '05, T. Brown '06, Martin J. Remsen '14, H. S. Baketel '20, Earle Carder '21, Orton H. Hicks '21, S. D.
