Dr. Patten 'll Honored

Dr. Bradley M. Patten '11, associate professor of histology and embryology at Western Reserve University, has been appointed assistant director for medical sciences in the Rockefeller Foundation and has taken up his new duties in New York.

Dr. Patten, son of the late Professor Patten of Dartmouth, terminated twenty years of service at Western Reserve, during which period he won wide recognition for his research work on the heart and vascular systems. He is the author of two textbooks, The Embryology of the Pig and The Embryology of the Chick.
