Dr. Arthur H. Ruggles 'O2, professor of psychology at Brown University, was recently elected a Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. Dr. Ruggles, who is a member of the Dartmouth Alumni Council from the New England States district, is president of the American Foundation for Mental Hygiene and is superintendent of Butler Hospital in Providence. Following his graduation from Dartmouth in 190 a, he received his M.D. degree from Harvard in 1906, an M.A. degree from Dartmouth in 1909, and honorary D.Sc. degrees from Dartmouth in 1926 and Brown in 1929.
