J. J. Wertheimer of St. Louis, Mo., writes that after several years of comparative relief from business activities he has, on account of the illness of his partner, his son, taken up again the leadership in his firm as agents of the Travelers Insurance Company of Hartford, Conn., for his city. He and his wife have recently celebrated the fifty-fifth anniversary of their wedding. He writes that he is in good health, but that his wife is recovering from a recent attack of heart failure, with every prospect of soon making a complete recovery.
