English, Lee F.—We learn from the Alumni Office that English, head of the legal department of the Santa Fe R. R., is now spending a large part of his days at his home, 1007 Greenwood Ave., Wilmette; He and Mrs. English returned from San Diego, Calif., in March, and we judge he has decided to be more considerate of his health. Wise man, English.

Gregory, Warren F— Hereafter classmates will please address him as Reverend. Note the following: Late in March, Greg joined the host of the good citizens who express themselves on vital and worth-while subjects in the Boston Herald's "Mail Bag" column, his fhesis being the influence of family worship on the rising generation. The answer by a lady from Providence which appeared April 1, was in part as follows: "The reverend gentleman fromNewtonville must not, however, lose sightof the fact that any good thing may beoverdone." The last the Secretary heard of our Reverend Greg, he had been setting out an asparagus bed, and still had left enough vigor of mind, body, and bank balance so that he was at the moment writing a check for the Alumni Fund. Againclassmates, take notice—for your Secretary is also class agent for the Alumni Fund.

Harlow, Truman O—Tick writes on April 19 that he and his wife returned from West Palm Beach about the middle of April, that he enjoyed his stay in Florida, and that his health is very good. Good news, Tick. The home address is 155 Brooks Ave., Arlington, Mass.

Lougee, Dr. W. W—The program for the last meeting of the National Academy of Science, held in Washington, April 24, tells us that Richard Lougee, the son of our Doc, also our 45th reunion photographer, read a paper, subject, "Time Measures of an Ice Re-advance at Littleton, N. H." He was introduced by Prof. Charles T. Berkey of Columbia. It is rumored that Columbia is soon to give Richard a doctor's degree.

Pattee, Fred Lewis—We have just received the current catalogue of the Bread Loaf School of English, conducted by Middlebury College. Pattee is again listed for a course of lectures. You may find him at Bread Loaf Inn, high up in the Green Mountains, but easily accessible over good roads. Did I hear someone say, "I willgladly pay the tuition of the Secretary ifhe will attend" (it's only one hundred dollars)? But don't forget his wife, who would like to sit at Pattee's feet.

Williams, Berton—Another grandchifd to be recorded, this time in the family of "Williams First." Carol Mitchell Williams, the daughter of Mason P. Williams, son of Berton, born May 6 in Cleveland Heights. We recall that Mason married the attractive niece of Charley McCarthy.

Secretary, 11 Oak St., Belmont, Mass.

Clark, John Lew—Not a word from the "old man,"but here is an item of interest borrowed from the Boston Globe:
