Mrs. Francis G. Gale and her son still have their home on the spacious farm at Waterville, P. Q., Canada. It is their purpose to be in Hanover next June for the "60 th."
Mrs. Rufus P. Williams has long occupied the same house in Cambridge, Mass. Her interest in social uplift activities continues unabated.
Mrs. McElroy at Albany, N. Y., keeps active and now and then has a dinner party. On one occasion she insisted on presiding at a guest dinner before yielding a broken arm to the care of a surgeon.
With the companionship of her daughter Ida, Mrs. Patterson holds and occupies the house in Chicago Patterson built, and in which the library he gathered is still kept. Mrs. Patterson, a few months ago, had the pleasure of a visit from her son and family living in Manila.
Mrs. Frost has with her in the Frost home, in Colorado Springs, her daughter and children.
Mrs. S. M. Fairfield and Fairfield's sister, Miss A. G. Fairfield, live quietly in an apartment of a hotel in Los Angeles. They seldom leave their rooms, but are rich in their friendly callers and correspondents.
Leaving Beverly Hills, Calif., Mrs. William H. Gardiner and her daughter are now making their home with Mrs. Gardiner's son, at Seaside, Oregon.
Miss Gertrude Bridgman, Bridgman's sister, occupies the Bridgman home, Keene, N. H. Piper called upon her last summer and found her recovering from a season of impaired health, in good spirits.
Ryder's oldest daughter is in Dublin, N. H., during the summer,—one of the proprietors of V Lawn Inn.
