So there I was, standing in the boathouse on the banks of the River Connecticut, listening to a barbershop quartet sing on as one of our swim coaches—Ron Keenhold, for you swimmers in the class celebrated the engagement of his youngest son. When all of a sudden, who should walk in? Why, it's Chris Bradley, of course, back in Hanover for his tenth high school reunion and a friend of said youngest son. Chris had his wife on his arm and looked like he was doing great. He's living in the Boston area, working at Harvard in development. We will let it go this time, knowing that his stint with the Crimson is only passing time until a job opens up here in Hanover.

If you were watching CNN a few months ago during the E. coli scare in Colorado, you may have been lucky enough to see Sonja Olsen being interviewed. She recently finished her Ph.D. and had her first major case with the breakout a heck of a way to get started!

I got an e-mail from one of the stupendous Dartinouth Alumni Magazine staffers, with a caption reporting on Jon Kohl. Unfortunately, the text also came with a picture...which was not passed on to me. And as Jon himself said, "I highly recommend you look at the photo before you read the text or it won't mean nearly as much." My loss, I'm guessing. In the meantime, I will tell you that Jon is working for a small, non-profit organization the RARE Center for Tropical Conservation in Philadelphia, and was recently appointed program manager in Honduras.

Received a postcard of the Badlands from Steph Tuxill in late August. She claims that after four years of "the good life" (her term, not mine) in Montana, she has rejoined academia in the form of an M.S. program in environmental studies at the University of Oregon. Not much else to report, as I'm sure everyone is readying their "what I did with my summer" reports for the next issue. Unfortunately, you will not read this for a while, but I need to turn

it in two days before attending the wedding of Sue Greeley and Doug Sylva '93. I'm sure there will be plenty to report from that weekend, but I still look forward to hearing from many of you soon!
