AT THE DEDICATION banquet of the Church of Christ, Dean Laycock was in his very best form (which is very good form). As master of ceremonies he introduced President Hopkins, Hobart Upjohn, architect, E. H. Hunter '01, contractor, and others. Calling upon John Harris, popular rector of St. Thomas' Church, the Dean said that there was once an important special meeting of the Dartmouth Board of Trustees. Someone had applied for a teaching position on the faculty and the Trustees had met in consternation to discuss the matter because it was discovered that the applicant was an Episcopalian!
