The Green swimmers closed their season on March 2 with an even split in eight meets. In their last three meets they defeated Syracuse, 51 to 20, at Hanover, lost to Brown, 37 to 34, at Providence, and lost to Harvard, 37 to 34, at Cambridge.

In the Syracuse meet Dartmouth took four first and the relay, as well as every second place. The Green victories were turned in by Captain Bill Crouse in the 50yard free style, Jack Smith in the dive, Frank Young in the backstroke, Doug Ley in the 100-yard free style, and the relay team of Essex, Bamford, Ostrom and O'Brien.

At Brown the Dartmouth swimmers took three firsts and tied the Bruins in the final relay event. Firsts were captured by Crouse in the 50-yard dash, Young in the backstroke and Sayre in the breast stroke. The relay team consisted of Young, O'Brien, Ley and Crouse.

In losing to Harvard, 37-34, Dartmouth took but two firsts, the 50-yard free style going to Crouse and the dive to Smith. The Green relay team of Young, Crouse, O'Brien and Ley was declared the winner when the Crimson was disqualified. Frank Specht captured second in the 220, and Young and Atkinson took the same place in the backstroke and breast stroke, respectively. Doug Ley took two thirds in the dashes, and single points were also picked up by Sayre in the breast stroke and Essex in the 440.
