Dartmouth's freshman football team this year lost but one of its encounters, that one the final game of the season going to the Princeton Freshman by a score of 7to 0. The Princeton men marched to a score following the opening kickoff. Thereafter neither team was able to show and the game became a duel of punters and a nightmare of unsuccessful passes.

Dean Academy joined the list of the defeated when the Dartmouth team outscored it 14 to oin Hanover October 17. McQuiston featured the game for Dartmouth. Just before the game F. P. Foster, of Montclair, N. J., was elected to captain the team for the remainder of the season.

At Exeter, October 23, the Freshmen won by a score of 25' to 10, with McQuiston, Black, and Harris again featuring. Black got away for a 50-yard run.

Playing at Providence October 30 Sid Hazelton's team conquered the Brown Freshmen 12 to 0. The Brown team played a strong defensive game throughout and the Dartmouth men did not score until the third quarter when Terrio blocked a Brown punt and ran the ball to the four-yard line. Then on the next kickoff the Green team displayed a varsity offense and swept down the full length of the field for the second score.

The 1929 backs ran wild against Troy Conference Academy eleven in Hanover November 6, and piled up 71 points while holding the opposition scoreless.
