Commencement Fares

A special round-trip rate of a fare and one-third will be available for guests of seniors, alumni and their families, who are travelling to Hanover by rail for the Commencement program on June 14 to 17. Railroad tickets purchased at this special rate will be good for thirty days after the date of sale.

Certificates entitling holders to this special rate may be obtained from secretaries of reuning classes, by direct application to the Secretary's Office, Hanover, N. H., or from the Boston and Maine ticket office in Hanover.

Through sleeping cars will leave Chicago, Cleveland and points enroute for White River Junction on June 13, arriving at 12:23 P.M. on Friday, June 14. Special parlor and sleeping cars will be added to Boston and New York trains as needed. Plane service between Boston and White River Junction is available daily, with New York plane connections possible at Boston.

Friday, June 14 10:00 A.M. Meeting of Alumni Council. 12:30 P.M. Joint luncheon of Alumni Council and Trustees. 3:00-6:00 P.M. Dick's House, Carpenter Art Building, Tuck School, Baker Library, and Sanborn English House will be open to visitors. 7:30 P.M. President and Mrs. Hopkins at home to members of the graduating class, faculty, alumni, and guests. 8:30 P.M. Medical School graduation exercises and annual alumni meeting at the Hanover Inn. 9:30 P.M. Commencement Ball, Alumni Gymnasium. Saturday, June 15—Class Day 9:15 A.M. Phi Beta Kappa Meeting. 10:30 A.M. Class Day Exercises. 12:30 P.M. Alumni Luncheon, including the presentation of the Fifty-Year Class and annual meeting of the Alumni Association. 3:30 P.M. Baseball—Cornell vs. Dartmouth. 3:00-6:00 P.M. Dick's House, Carpenter Art Building, Tuck School, Baker Library, and Sanborn English House will be open to visitors. 8:OOP,M. Under the Gaslight, presented by the Dartmouth Players, Webster Hall. 10:00 P.M. Promenade Concert on the campus by the Dartmouth Band. Sunday, June 16Baccalaureate Day 11:00 A.M. Crew Race, Mascoma Lake, Dartmouth vs. Union Boat Club of Boston. 7:00 P.M. Fraternity and Society Reunions. Annual meetings of the Thayer School and Tuck School alumni. 8:00 P.M. Concert by Musical Clubs. Monday, June 17Commencement Day 9:45 A.M. Procession will form on the campus for the Commencement Exercises. 10:00 A.M.
