Secretaries of Dartmouth classes and clubs elected Francis L. Childs '06 president of their Association at the conclusion of the 31st annual meetings in Hanover, May 18. Professor Childs, a member of the Dartmouth faculty in the Department of English, is secretary of the class of 1906. C. J. Spaulding '24, of Worcester, was elected vice-president and will succeed to the presidency in 1936. Sidney C. Hay ward '26 was reelected secretary-treasurer and editor of the ALUMNI MAGAZINE.
To fill the vacancy left by the retirement of Allan M. Cate '20 at the expiration of his second term in June, Robert J. Holmes '09, of Boston, was elected to the Alumni Council by the Association. The executive committee for the next year will consist of Messrs. Childs, Spaulding, Hayward, and H. P. Hinman '10, of Barre, Vt., and J. F. Conners '14, of Bridgeport, Conn. Two class secretaries were elected to the advisory board of the ALUMNI MAGAZINE. These new editorial advisers are C. E. Leech '14, of Boston, and F. H. Horan '22 of New York City.
