ELECTION OF OFFICERS for the coming season was the chief business of our June meeting. Results: president, Dick Colton '25; Ist vice president, Jack Thompson '29; 2d vice president, Henry Douglas '31; secretary, Harold Hastings '00; treasurer, Mercer Bowers '24. In my news-notes for the June issue I told of our exchange of greetings with Rev. Joseph R. Milligan of the class of 1862. We greeted him barely in time, for he died on the first of June, a week after his ninety-second birthday. Recent additions to our number are John W. Baxter '12, Bradbury P. Foss '25, James D. Ripley '26. And Baltimore is to have a delegation of at least four in the new class of '40—Carl V. Bloede, Edward Fritz, Richard F. Kenney, C. Page Smith—all very promising boys.
