THE FIRST fall meeting of the club was held September 28 and attended by nine members, O'Gara '23, McKenney '28, Gottschaldt '18, Wilson '25, Jones '24, Sturgess '17, Palmer '18, Stickney, and Lamb '33.
After the last meeting of the preceding season on June 5, 1936, Walter B. Elcock '12, ably representing the club, presented the Dartmouth football trophy, a cup, to Boys High of Atlanta which finally won permanent possession of the cup that was originally set up as a Georgia I. A. A. trophy by the club in 1928.
New officers for the coming year were elected: Joe Harris '17, president and J. F. Lamb '33, secretary. .
It was tentatively planned to have at least some of the fall meetings the second Monday of the month. Any wandering alumni who find themselves in the city will be welcomed in the true southern spirit. The club's secretary may be reached at WAlnut 6800 during business hours and at HEmlock 5022 at other times and will be glad to extend the hospitality of the club to visiting alumni and friends.
